Abstract

COVID 19 fashion design uses a simpler concept that was previously luxurious, glamorous. Post-covid fashion designs in Indonesia tend to last longer in consumers or Design for Longevity as a form of fashion sustainability. During COVID 19, the limited mobility of consumers increased the number of Online Product Reviews (OPRs) in lieu of consumer surveys, optimized for the development of fashion designs that meet consumer needs. The challenge for the Indonesian fashion industries is that the distribution of fashion industries centers is more concentrated on the island of Java. Meanwhile, potential consumer groups are spread throughout Indonesia. So that the concept of Design For Longevity is very much needed by fashion industries players, ranging from manufactures, suppliers and the location of the textile industries, which affects the optimization and efficiency of Indonesian fashion designs. So that modular cutting fashion is needed by the textile industries, which is in accordance with consumer needs. The purpose of this research is to analyze the spatial of the fashion industries in Indonesia based on the location of raw materials, consumers and designs. Develop a 3D modular cutting model in Indonesia that supports Design For Longevity so that fashion is more optimal from the three players. The research consists of 5 phases. Phase 1 spatial analysis calculation with remote sensing. Demand data is presented in the form of image maps of industrial locations based on texture, pattern, shape, size and color. The material for this analysis is satellite imagery from SAS Planet in 2021, while the tool use is ArcGIS 10.3. Phase 2 Calculation of Qualitative Analysis of Text OPR With Nvivo. Phase 3 Qualitative study of expert interviews through Nvivo. Phase 4 Descriptive Analysis of Fashion Industries Innovations in the New Normal Era. Phase 5 Development of a Modular Fashion Mathematical Model. Phase 6 Extending Product Life Fashion Design For Longevity. The results of this study obtained a model for the spatial development of the Indonesian fashion industries using the integrated DfL concept using modular fashion based on the spatiality of the Indonesian fashion industries. Design For Longevity innovations for fashion products are based on consumer voices in order to stay in line with consumer needs and accelerate the recovery of the national fashion industries. © 2024 American Institute of Physics Inc..
