This study delves into the implementation and efficacy assessment of hydraulic exoskeleton therapy for children with cerebral palsy, focusing on enhancing biomechanical motion aspects. Preceding therapy, biometric measurements and range of motion assessments were conducted, ensuring appropriate sample selection and exoskeleton sizing. The exoskeleton, comprising a brace and hydraulic rod, aimed to facilitate movements. The therapy protocol involved supervised exercises guided by skilled assistants, aiming at transforming movements into therapeutic processes. Real-time data collection through embedded sensors facilitated precise monitoring and analysis. Statistical analysis, including descriptive statistics, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Mann-Whitney U, and paired samples tests, provided a comprehensive evaluation. Results indicated significant improvements in flexion, extension, abduction, and adduction movements post-therapy. Notably, the therapy positively impacted participants' daily activities and garnered favorable feedback from users and caregivers. Further optimization, potentially through robotic integration, is suggested for enhanced therapeutic outcomes. Overall, the study underscores the potential of hydraulic exoskeleton therapy in enhancing motion capabilities and improving the quality of life for individuals with cerebral palsy. © 2024 Joint Journal of Novel Carbon Resource Sciences and Green Asia Strategy.
